The weather continued to be a pain as we made our way from Robinvale to Bendigo where Maureen (inspired by the Toohey’s?) wanted to do a little of her family tree, in particular the Catholic church where her grandmother was both baptised and married.

We had a great time walking around the city as the weather cleared – visiting St Kilian’s, a wonderful second hand bookshop, the Botanical Gardens and the ‘Wine Bank’. I would love to establish one of these in Brisbane or Sydney CBD. Think you would make a fortune!
