November 21 – Robinvale Caravan Park

December 3, 2018 - Reading time: ~1 minute

What an interesting day! The weather was lovely in Clare as we packed up, but the forecast was for rain and high winds. As the progressed the weather caught us around Mildura as the wind swept across the plains creating huge dust storms which apparently went across to Sydney.

We decided outside of Mildura to head to Melbourne to visit Maureen’s family and changed direction to set up camp at Robinvale. At first we wanted to set up camp along the Murray at one of the free camps, but the high velocity winds and the fear of branches falling from the river gums led us to the caravan park. We did not set up the annex and ended up having a great sleep.
