February 14 – Knight’s Bend

February 18, 2018 - Reading time: ~1 minute

Headed on for a day of travel getting away just after 9. We stopped at Yarrawonga to farewell Chris and had a quick cup of tea and waster tank refill courtesy of Lois and Mick.

We decided to change plans and as result we had a long drive to Robinvale and Knight’sBend. Another lovely campsite along the Murray – this time on high banks with weed in front. It was interesting watching the weed as the turtles and platypus ( eventually identified as eels) fed.

Stars owner once again magnificent! This morning the sky was filled with contrails and the ducks and pelicans fed on the river. Very beautiful!

I took us twenty minutes to pack up after brekkie and back on the road to Renmark where we hope to spend three nights.
